#AlexisKnoxStyling: Sergei Grinko – Milan Fashion Week

Ciao bellas! I’m just back from Milano after styling the Sergei Grinko show at MFW! Sergei is a fashion bezzie of mine, and I always love styling his collections – heading to Milan is a bonus too, especially when you get to go twice LOL! I was in Milan prepping with Sergei the week before and enjoying the fine cuisine that Italy has to offer…

YUM!!! After that, I was off to LA, then right back on the plane again to Milan with my right hand gal Emily – no rest for the wicked haha! My bag swapping skills have reached expert level by now – you have to be fast for this jet set lifestyle LOLZ! We were straight off the plane into final fittings before the show. I had been in Milan over the last few months brain storming with Sergei, so it was amazing to see it all come together.

For styling we took inspiration from cultures all over the world – including our own! My love for British culture gave the collection a bit of a chav twist with sports socks! The precollection was styled with caps perched on the back of the model’s heads and hair inspired by the McDonalds logo – we called it, “The Golden Arches” – it’s a 90’s inspired style with two bits of hair dangling down the forehead onto your face (c’mon on 90’s fans – you know what I’m talking about!)
