Emma J Shipley is ‘Popping’ Up in Piccadilly!!

Emma J Shipley is a super cute up and coming  interior design and luxury scarf designer and she has arrived in a pop up shop in Piccadilly (James St)! How exciting! She specialises in fine drawing, art and design to create timeless, quirky and eye catching prints and scarfs that are B E A U TIFUL! You may have heard of her when she collaborated with Nicholas Kirkwood to fashion some amazinggg print shoes.. Look at these beauties:

This girl has serious talent.. Her scarves are amazing and so beautifully detailed. My fave collection at the mo is the Amazon Collection, which is based on Darwinian evolution, mathematical patterns in nature and classical English textile design printed onto the finest silks and cashmere blends. This is an example of how fierce her prints and drawings are.. The intricacy is exceptional and it really draws your eye in.

This scarf is called the ‘Silverback Classic Scarf’ which features an orangutan, baboon and a gorilla on a dark blue background with the skilled drawing further highlighted by the white detailing.. I love this lil fella and i really really really want it!! With a scarf this amazing, make sure your outfit is plain to ensure the scarf is the focus with some colourful shoes to really make the outfit pop!

We decided to style Emma’s scarves for our three themes of Chillin’, Babin’ and Fiercin’ to show you the different ways to style them!

1. CHILLIN’

This look is super cute and perfect for werqing the pool side! The neon swimsuit and accessories are ideal for showing off the tan and the swimsuit is figure hugging, but also sucks you in in all the right places! The scarf is amazing, i love this print! These monochrome Zara heels tie the outfit together to make for a fierce daytime look!

The pattern and colours of the scarf really compliment the neon yellow swimsuit and to accentuate curves further, wrap the scarf around the waist for a sublime summertime look.

2. BABIN’

This look is perfect for a summers day! The white dress is super flattering and the skater skirt is very on trend! We have decided to pick up the blue on the scarf so have teamed it with these blue retro earrings and statement blue heels for a  amazing day time look.

I think the scarf should be tied washerwoman style to really show off its detailing a la this very beautiful model!

3. FIERCIN’

This pink and red lion scarf is so eye-catching and perfect for a night out! We have paired it with these amazingly beautiful leather trousers from ACNE to create a more modest look…

Styling the scarf as a top is a perfect way to show off the print whilst also have a major nighttime look.. Have a little look at this picture for styling inspiration.
