Give up Clothes for Good with TK Maxx #IGiveUpMy
Isn’t it funny how clothes bring back memories? Whether it’s your fail safe LBD date dress or the killer heels that have seen you through many parties – our wardrobes so often reflect our lives!
And if you’re anything like me, there’s so many pieces in your wardrobe that end up forgotten. Which is exactly why I’m thrilled to be involved in TK Maxx’s campaign Give Up Clothes for Good.
The campaign is all about giving pre-loved clothing to TK Maxx, with the donated clothes to be sold in Cancer Research UK shops funding research into children’s cancers. Cancer Research UK Kids & Teens, in partnership with TK Maxx is the UK’s biggest clothes collection. By donating something of value, Cancer Research UK receive a larger donation so we can beat kid’s cancer sooner. So grab a donation bag and get giving!
My item that I have chosen to donate is my winter essential that although I still love, I know will bring happiness to another!
After all, what says happiness better than a faux fur fabulous jacket?! This coat is one of my favourite winter pieces. I’ve enjoyed teaming it with jeans, boots & graphic tees for a Rock N Roll feel and at night I’ve worked it with many fabulous dresses and heels! If it can survive my hectic life I know it will be the perfect cold weather companion to someone else’s! From being hung on the back of many a restaurant chair to being rolled up into a ball under countless DJ booths – This coat has seen a fun filled life and is now ready for another!
You can help beat kids’ cancers sooner by donating a bag of unwanted clothes, accessories and quality homeware to your nearest TK Maxx store.
Since 2004 TK Maxx has raised over £22 million for Cancer Research UK’s work with over £18 million supporting research into children’s cancers specifically.
The campaign will run all year round, giving people more opportunities to donate and support, raising more funds for Cancer Research UK Kids & Teens and helping to beat kid’s cancers sooner.
So what are you waiting for! Fill a bag with your unwanted clothes, accessories and quality homeware and bring it to TK Maxx!
